Who is this Guy?

I was born and raised in Llanelli, South Wales, and trained as an actor at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. That was over 20 years ago now, and I’ve never looked back. Well, maybe I’ve looked back sometimes. Late at night. But I’ve been lucky enough to have a career of sorts, working for some fantastic directors and theatre companies.

This is me in Comedy of Errors for the RSC.

Yep, that’s me. During the pandemic, I decided to get better at self tapes. Bought loads of great equipment, learnt how to use it, and before long I found myself helping loads of friends with their tapes, and do you know what? I discovered that I really love it. I really enjoy working with other actors, and find it incredibly satisfying putting together a tape that they’re proud of. So I decided to make a business out of it.

I hate the term ‘mission statement’, but FWIW, here’s mine. I know as well as anyone the insecurities of being an actor, trying to make the best of the few opportunities that come your way, the anxiety of putting yourself out there, and the bravery that goes with that. So my commitment is to give you my full attention and support for the session that you’re with me. To commit to the scene, so that you’re working with another actor, not just a reader. To give helpful feedback if it’s needed, to shut my mouth if it’s not. And, obviously, to make the tape look and sound great.
